TrueNorth Water Fast: Days 5-6

I’m combining these posts because the past couple of days have been surprisingly similar in both how I’ve felt and how I’ve spent my time.
It’s fascinating how clear my mind is. My body is tired, of course, but my mind has this clear, almost wired feeling - like a clean energy that keeps going as long as I take a few breaks. I’d love to maintain this as much as possible. Before coming here, I never thought I’d even consider cutting out coffee, but now I’m actually thinking about switching to decaf or trying coffee alternatives.
On day 6, I woke up feeling the weakest I’ve felt so far. My muscles had an almost tingly sensation, and I felt like I could become nauseous. But after a few hours, I felt completely normal again.
I haven’t had anymore headaches. I do experience some intermittent lightheadedness throughout the day if I stand up too quickly, but taking a moment before getting up usually prevents it. I’m also consistently losing about a pound a day.
One thing I’ve noticed is that my mind feels less antsy - less like it’s constantly searching for something. I can concentrate and relax into things better instead of just ping ponging around. I think part of that is my brain rewiring, and part of it is simply adapting to ketosis. I imagine the timeline depends on your relationship with food before starting a fast. Some people say that by day 4 all of that mental "noise" is gone. For me, it has taken a little longer, but I can definitely feel it happening.
